In Ireland at the moment there is an enormous demand on Nordic languages (Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish and Danish); one of the main reasons for this I find is because of the Nordic countries having a great public service in place.
 
However Ireland does offer an excellent opportunity from young school leavers to college leavers with companies like HP, IBM, Microsoft, gaming companies recruiting candidates to work in entry level customer service roles to entry level technical support roles and for more experienced candidates Order Management roles.
 
These companies offer an excellent salary starting from 19,500 to 24,500. These salaries may be a little low however a lot of candidates can find suitable accommodation and have a good social life.
 
My discussion would be what is more important having a good public service in place or have an opportunity for a start in your career here in Ireland.
